Despite ostensible ‘Facebook’ subject, #RelationshipStatus is not so much like THE SOCIAL NETWORK but a lo-fi (less hysterical) MAGNOLIA.
#RelationshipStatus is set in more middle-class milieu than #Songlap but also a well-acted & crafted ensemble of urban interconnectedness.
Mainly in English, actors of #RelationshipStatus = not only good but well-cast. Something more expensive productions didn’t always achieve.
Everyone who supported #Songlap’s respect for audience shd also give #RelationshipStatus a try.
